KOTAWALA'S FARM.

The project was a renovation of an existing weekend home and the brief from the client was to make it as raw and rustic as possible. Bringing together the various ideas in a cohesive form, an earthy model is crafted in a contemporary form. Using wood, metal and concrete extensively, the design gives equal importance to function, materiality and execution. Exposed stone masonry, natural stone faced bathroom tiles, exposed brick cladding and raw wood paneling all contributes to achieve the brief given by the client.
