KAYATHWAL'S RESIDENCE

Kayathwal’s residence of Mr. Anshu Kayathwal, located in Civil Lines, Jaipur is designed in modern theme. The colour scheme used in the building is neutral palette, mostly neutral shades of brown. Building has strong and crisp lines and use of rectangular shapes in windows is prominent. Use of decorative mouldings isused in its simplified form, giving way to a clean intricate jali work is also a mainfeature in the façade of the building.

Materials like glass, wood, concrete and steel are used in the building. Floor tiles used in the building is bare and smooth in nature to reflect modern design. The house has long overhangs and recessed openings that provide shade to keep place cool in the summer and passive solar heating in the winter, which is highly required for utility purpose enriching the simply ornate facade as well.
