RMC GEMS (JEWELLERY FACTORY)

RMC gems is a jewellery factory situated in Sitapura, Jaipur, designed in modern theme.The plan is centred on two distinct buildings which are connected by a highlighted brick veil. The veil, the primary visual feature of the overall design.Clean, crisp and uninterrupted lines are seen in all areas with clearly defined spaces. Neutral colour palette in contrast with brick red colour is breaking the monotony of building.

Use of brick wall with the blend of glass in the building is significant of the modern architecture. Emphasis on rectangular forms and horizontal/vertical lines with open and flowing spaces are visible across the building. Decorative mouldings are greatly simplified, giving way to a clean aesthetic where materials are well used with well-executed joints.

The building has long overhangs and recessed openings that provide shadeto keep place cool in summer and passive solar heating in the winter which is a key requirement in factories for proper ventilation and natural light.

Space is designed to boost productivity and ambiance to comfort the factory workers during working hours.
